C) 19.-26.7. open performance tournament
- players without ELO FIDE with ELO nat. 1700 min., 9 rounds by Swiss system, 2h/40 + 1h, prize fund 660 EUR
D) 19.-26.7. open amateur tournament
- players without ELO or with ELO nat. 1949 max., 9 rounds by Swiss system, 2h/40 + 1h, prize fund 330 EUR
E) 10.-13.7. open 4-member team tournament with rating for FIDE
- players without age and performance limitations, 7 rounds by Swiss system, 2 x 1,5h + 30s / move, prize fund 1.000 EUR
F) 18.7. open 4-member team tournament of youngsters up to 16 years of age in active chess
- players born in 1987 and younger, 7 rounds by Swiss system, 2 x 20 min., material prizes
G) 16.-17.7. active chess tournament
- players without age and performance limitations, 9 rounds by Swiss system, 2 x 30 min., prize fund 1.000 EUR
H) 14.-15.7. blitz marathon
- players without age and performance limitations, each with each + possible finals, 2 x 5 min., prize fund 500 EUR
I) 20.7. blitz chess tournament
- players without age and performance limitations, 9 rounds by Swiss system + k.o., 2 x 5 min., prize fund 260 EUR
J) 11.-17.7. open rating tournament with rating for FIDE
- players without age and performance limitations, Swiss system of 7 rounds, 2 x 1,5h + 30s/move, prize fund 660 EUR
K) 12.-13.7. problem solving competition
- competitors without age and performance limitations, 3 twomovers, 3 threemovers, 2 moremovers, 1 study,
prize fund 200 EUR
L) 14.7. open blitz tournament of bughouse
- pairs of players without age and performance limitations, 2 x 5 min., prize fund 200 EUR
M) 15.7. open tournament of Fischerandom chess
- players without age and performance limitations, Swiss system of 7 rounds, 2 x 30 min., prize fund 200 EUR
N) 16.7. superblitz chess tournament
- players without age and performance limitations, qualifying and final groups, 2 x 3 min., prize fund 100 EUR
At the same time with chess tournaments on 11.-17.7. there will be also tournaments in playing computer games, bridge, go, draughts, shogi tournaments and other games.
In 2002 45 GM, 56 IM, 4 WGM and 7 WIM participated in A tournament. Average ELO of the first 100 players was 2480, average ELO of the whole tournament was 2321. 3 GM, 1 WGM, 11 IM and 1 WIM norms were achieved. In B tournament 280 players (68%) had ELO FIDE. 2160 starts of players from 42 countries of all continents were registered.
Accompanying programme: small football tournament, table tennis tournament for youngsters and adults, viewing of board games, trips, rich possibilities of bathing in two modern aqua parks
Prize fund of the whole festival amounts to c. 20.000 EUR !!!
Starting fee: GM, IM, WGM and WIM in all tournaments free, others according to type of tournament from 4 EUR/tournament upwards, 25% discount for youngsters up to 18 years, pensioners from 65 years upwards and women
Accommodation: will be provided in the hostel, University dormitories and selected hotels at the price from 4 EUR/person and night upwards.
Board - meals: prices of meals in festival restaurants are from 1,50 EUR upwards
Discount system: for all participants and people accompanying them a discount system in selected shops and restaurants will be introduced again.
